Job summary

Axpo Group is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and safeguard scalable IT systems in a hybrid cloud setup in Madrid. You will collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring across Azure and on‑prem resources.

Join a DevOps‑minded team that values learning, diversity, and practical problem solving. English is required; Spanish is a plus, and offices in Madrid support flexible hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on medium to large IT infrastructure projects with Azure Cloud.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS).
• Strong expertise configuring Azure services with Terraform and cloud-native/hybrid networking (VPN, Cloudflare).
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps or GitHub) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid grounding in SRE, observability, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenTelemetry).
• Advanced English (C1); good Spanish is an advantage.

• Solid grounding in SRE principles, observability, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack, or OpenTelemetry

• Advanced English (C1); good Spanish is an advantage

• Industry certifications (Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes) are a plus, but not a must — we encourage you to apply even if you don't tick every box
