UST España & Latam is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer with Django expertise to design, develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications for a banking client. The role is hybrid in Madrid (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH) with relocation optional.

Responsibilities include owning the application lifecycle, ensuring security and compliance, and collaborating across business, dev, infra, and external vendors. Strong Linux, Python, Django, and DB skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience operating Linux-based applications in prod.
• Strong Python development and Django framework expertise.
• Hands-on with SQL databases (Oracle, Trino).
• Experience with background processing tools (Celery).
• Web tech skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Familiar with Git workflows and CI/CD processes.

Responsabilidades

• Act as main contact for an application managing risk data and controls.
• Plan and manage the full lifecycle with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure reliability, security, and compliance of services.
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications.
