UST España & Latam in Madrid is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer to design, develop, and support business-critical applications for a banking client in a hybrid Madrid setting. You will own the lifecycle of the applications, bridge stakeholders with engineering, and ensure security and reliability across environments.

The role requires strong Python with Django, Linux operations, SQL (Oracle/Trino), Celery/Redis for background tasks, and web front-end skills (JS/HTML/CSS).

Formación

• Linux-based application operations and deployment.
• Strong Python development skills with Django.
• Experience with SQL and enterprise databases (Oracle and Trino preferred).
• Experience with background processing and caching technologies (Celery and Redis).
• Web application development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary point of contact for an application which manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage throughout the application lifecycle, bridging the gap between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure that applications meet business requirements, comply with organizational standards, and deliver reliable services to end users.
• Ensure that all environments follow internal security guidelines, audit requirements, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications.
• Manage application lifecycle, including enhancements, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Ensure application availability, performance, security, and compliance.
