UST is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain business-critical Python applications for a client in banking. The role is hybrid in Madrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) and involves coordinating across stakeholders, development and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate has strong Python (Django) skills, Linux operations, and experience with SQL databases, Celery/Redis, and web technologies.

Formación

• Strong Python development with Django in production environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining business-critical applications.
• Familiarity with Linux-based operations and deployment.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle/Trino).
• Experience with Celery and Redis for background processing.
• Web frontend skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication across multi-system environments.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary contact for an application that manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage the application lifecycle, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure applications meet requirements, comply with standards, and deliver reliable services.
• Ensure environments follow security guidelines, audits, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
