UST España & Latam is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications for a banking client. The role is hybrid in Madrid (3 days at office, 2 WFH) with relocation options.

Primary duties include owning an application, coordinating between business stakeholders and tech teams, ensuring security, and delivering reliable services.

Formación

• Strong Python development skills with Django.
• Linux-based application operations and deployment.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle and Trino).
• Experience with background processing and caching technologies (Celery and Redis).
• Web development experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary point of contact for an application which manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage the application lifecycle, bridging business stakeholders, development, infrastructure and external vendors.
• Ensure applications meet business requirements, comply with standards, and deliver reliable services to end users.
• Ensure that all environments follow internal security guidelines, audit requirements, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
