UST España & Latam in Madrid is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer with strong Django expertise to design, build, maintain and support business-critical banking applications. This hybrid Madrid position requires 3 days in the office and 2 days work-from-home, with relocation possible.

You will lead the application lifecycle, coordinate with business stakeholders, development and infrastructure teams, and ensure security, reliability and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Strong Python development and Django expertise for building business-critical apps.
• Linux-based operations and deployment experience.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle/Trino) and caching/async processing (Celery/Redis).

Responsabilidades

• Act as primary contact for an application that manages risk data and reports results.
• Plan and manage the application lifecycle across stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure applications meet requirements, security guidelines, and reliable services.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications.
• Take end-to-end ownership and manage lifecycle including upgrades and decommissioning.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and compliance.
