UST España & Latam is seeking a top Application Owner / Python Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications for a major client in the banking sector. The role is based in Madrid with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) and relocation is welcome.

You will act as the primary contact for risk/control applications, bridge business, development, and infrastructure teams, and ensure reliable services.

Formación

• Experience designing, developing, maintaining and supporting business-critical applications.
• Linux-based application operations and deployment.
• Strong Python development with Django and web tech.Stacks with databases.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and Git-based development.
• Excellent communication across multi-team environments.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary point of contact for an application that manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage the application lifecycle, coordinating business stakeholders, development, infrastructure, and vendors.
• Ensure applications meet requirements, comply with standards, and deliver reliable services.
• Ensure environments follow security guidelines, audits, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
