Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to grow our Observability products by defining messaging, go-to-market strategy, and campaigns that attract, convert, and retain customers.

As a PMM, you will collaborate with product managers and marketing to deliver content, events, and training that help buyers buy and sellers sell our value. This role blends strategic guidance with hands-on execution in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing or product management
• Experience selling to technical audiences
• Passion for open source, cloud native, and infrastructure tech
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from start to finish
• Ability to articulate value of technical products to customers and sellers
• Experience leading product or feature launches autonomously or in teams
• Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for messaging workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent quantitative analysis for campaign performance and lifecycle metrics
• High say-do ratio in delivering impact

Responsibilities

• Actively partner with and teach product managers to define product value, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, from competitive positioning to sales enablement collateral.
• Partner with product management, engineering and various go-to-market functions to create materials that help customers evaluate and adopt our products: reference architectures, implementation guides, detailed product information and more.
• Own customer lifecycle campaigns (competitive positioning, retention, upsell/cross-sell) to shape marketing programs and drive growth across the customer journey.
• Conduct market and customer research to understand pain points, competition and opportunities.
• Teach go-to-market and sales teams our products’ capabilities and the value they provide, deliver training and enablement, ensure customer facing teams engage effectively with customers, partners, and prospects.
