Percona is seeking a Product Manager for Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), owning the product strategy and execution for our open-source observability platform for databases. You will work with engineering, design, and customers to define the future of PMM.

This is a highly technical role for DBAs, SREs, DevOps, and developers who rely on PMM to monitor and optimize mission-critical environments. You will iterate quickly and ship valuable customer-facing features.

Formación

• Proven success shipping technical products, particularly developer tools or observability.
• Experience shipping software from idea to release.
• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Own PMM product strategy and roadmap aligned with vision.
• Engage with customers and the open-source community to identify opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape direction.
• Translate problems into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Documentation, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver experiences.
• Prioritize features based on value, effort, and goals.
• Define success metrics using feedback, telemetry, and usage data.
• Work with engineering across the lifecycle from discovery to release.
• Represent PMM via blog posts, webinars, conferences, and meetings.
• Drive PMM adoption across open-source and enterprise teams.
