Job summary

SITA is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Designer/Engineer to join our regional pre-sales team in Prague. You will own the technical qualification of opportunities and lead the technical components of customer proposals, leveraging emerging technologies and SITA’s airports solution portfolio.

You will guide virtual pre-sales/bid teams, support sales during pre-contract phases, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions for customers in the air transport industry.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of technical and commercial aspects of IT/Air transport industry.
• Ability to interact confidently with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
• Good customer-facing, interpersonal, commercial, and financial awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of field service delivery and operational processes.
• Relevant technical certifications demonstrating solution design, cloud fundamentals, or business analysis are plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical interface for customers and lead technical engagements from initial contact through solution deployment.
• Analyze and understand customer business requirements and translate them into SITA products and solutions.
• Lead customer-facing activities, including offer and solution presentations, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.
• Contribute to the win strategy and determine the appropriate level of response to bid and win contracts.
• Design and coordinate the development of business solutions involving multiple internal and external parties.
• Own and deliver the technical components of customer proposals.
• Develop and manage the bid project plan and lead a virtual bid team.
• Coordinate with Delivery/Project Managers to ensure smooth handover after contract award.
