Job summary

Deel is hiring a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead month-end and year-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive improvements to our accounting systems. You will supervise a team of accountants and partner with engineering, product, and analytics to design GAAP-compliant financial events and robust controls.

Visible impact on global finance processes, cross-border transactions, and multi-currency reporting will be key as Deel continues to scale its platform and ARR growth.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close processes and validate key financial items.
• Review journals, reconciliations, and variance analyses; support audits.
• Design and validate accounting events within the finance integration platform.
• Partner with engineering/product to map features to GAAP-compliant entries.
• Ensure internal controls and accounting positions for multi-currency and multi-entity flows.
