Leadtech is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to own the accounting and close processes in a fast-paced, international environment. You will bring at least 6 years of accounting and finance experience, strong Spanish GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams.

The role focuses on month-end/year-end closings, reconciliations, intercompany work, and tax filings in Spain; Big 4 background is valued but not required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 6 years in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP and tax requirements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and ERP familiarity.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of the accounting and close process, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities with proper accruals and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and investigate variances.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Review invoices, accruals and postings; ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Monitor customer balances and invoicing; ensure CRM and ERP consistency.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Support Spanish tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Ensure records are maintained per GAAP and internal policies.
• Support external audits with documentation and auditor requests.
• Prepare statutory financial statements per Spanish GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams for timely reporting.
