JBT Marel Corporation seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead a multi-site accounting team within the CoE, driving accurate close processes and adherence to US GAAP and SOX. You will mentor staff, drive standardization, and collaborate across leadership to optimize reporting and controls.

The role requires 10+ years of accounting experience, 5+ in management, a degree in accounting/finance, and professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is highly desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• ACCA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting/auditing experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, SL9, LN).
• Solid understanding of European VAT compliance and tax filings.
• Strong experience ensuring Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-20 accounting professionals across sites.
• Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, set goals and provide coaching.
• Plan and manage team workload to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team.
• Collaborate with CoE leadership to drive standardization and process enhancements.
• Oversee the accounting close process and data collection for all sites with deadlines.
• Support monthly balance sheet reviews and ensure US GAAP and Marel standards compliance.
• Investigate and resolve accounting issues timely.
• Ensure SOX compliance and timely audit responses.
• Drive standardization, automation, and ERP/software deployment across close and reporting.
