Leading International Bank is seeking a senior accounting leader to manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes in line with IFRS and local regulations. You will oversee GL accuracy, sub-ledgers, and the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.

You will drive system integration projects, data integrity, and automation initiatives while leading a high-performing accounting team across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology.

Formación

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings per IFRS and local rules.
• Ensure GL accuracy and complete sub-ledgers (AP, AR, fixed assets, etc.).
• Oversee financial statements and regulatory reporting quality.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and all accounting sub-processes (AP, AR, fixed assets, treasury accounting, provisions, reconciliations).
• Supervise the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring timeliness and high-quality standards.
• Ensure strong internal controls consistent with audit standards and banking regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating deliverables and implementing recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements affecting financial and accounting processes.
• Lead and contribute to system integration projects, including data migration, process harmonization, system upgrades, ERP implementations, and connections with core banking platforms.
• Partner closely with IT and business teams to map accounting flows, validate data integrity, and ensure seamless interaction between financial systems.
• Drive automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reporting quality.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing insights, analysis, and financial expertise.
