Leadtech, a Barcelona-based company, is seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 6 years in accounting and finance to own the close process and operate autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Spanish GAAP and tax requirements, plus proven experience with month-end and year-end closings. You will analyze variances, collaborate across Finance, and contribute to process improvements while keeping the big financial picture in view.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and Spanish GAAP.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analytical mindset with ability to investigate discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience, SAP preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the accounting and close process, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information.
• Manage and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings with proper accruals and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances.
• Support preparation of Spanish tax filings and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting.
