Electronic Arts, Madrid, is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer for EA SPORTS to architect and scale core engine foundations in Unreal Engine for the American Football franchise.

You will lead performance improvements for memory footprint, threading, and networked game architecture, delivering data-driven live service systems and guiding multiple teams toward scalable, reliable functionality.

Formación

• 10+ years of C++ experience for large-scale systems.
• 5+ years in Unreal Engine architecture, performance and multithreading.
• Experience with parallel programming and multi-processor hardware in game development.
• Advanced debugging skills for client/server multiplayer in Unreal Engine.

Responsabilidades

• Develop complex engine systems in Unreal Engine aligned with roadmaps and team goals.
• Define per-system frame budgets, establish performance metrics, and guide multiple teams to meet benchmarks.
• Create data-driven live service systems for asset streaming, patching strategies, and live-data synchronization.
