Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior L2 Application Support Engineer in Guadalajara to oversee high-tier production support. You will drive incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with global teams to improve platforms and deploy fixes with CI/CD discipline.

The role requires 6–9 years of experience, strong SQL, Unix/Linux skills, and practical knowledge of Python/Java, plus GenAI/LLM tooling for support automation. AWS and Kubernetes exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in application maintenance and production support in an L2 or higher capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with enterprise databases (Oracle, Sybase, Snowflake).
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong fundamentals in OOP with Python, Java, or other core scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience using AI models or GenAI/LLM tools to aid log analysis and automation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration during high-pressure outages.
• Practical knowledge of AWS ecosystems and cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed computing tools (Kubernetes, Spark, Airflow).
• Domain knowledge in Market Risk concepts and financial regulatory frameworks could be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-tier production environment support and incident resolution.
• Drive end-to-end incident management and perform RCA for production issues.
• Collaborate with AppDev/L3 teams for fixes and testing before deployment.
• Support servers and clients on advanced platforms to ensure uptime.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and improve application performance.
• Provide feedback to Core Development teams during global outages.
