Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, MX. You will provide L2 maintenance and incident resolution with detailed RCA, collaborating with AppDev/L3 teams and Global partners.

You will apply Unix/Linux, SQL, and OOP (Python/Java), while leveraging AI/GenAI models for log analysis, debugging, and automation. Local market experience and AWS knowledge are preferred.

We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in GUADALAJARA, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

• Overall 6-9 years of relevant experience in application Maintenance and Support with L2 role
• Hands-on Unix/Linux, SQL (Sybase, Snowflake, or Oracle etc.), and Object-Oriented Programming (Python, Java, etc.)
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and crisis management abilities
• End-to-end incident ownership, Root Cause Analysis, and coordinating fix proposals with AppDev/L3 teams
• Practical experience utilizing AI models or GenAI/LLM tools for log analysis, debugging, and support automation
• Strong in writing SQL queries.
• AWS knowledge and minimum hands on is preferable
• Knowledge on any other scripting/Coding languages – preferably Java

Details:

• Actively provide support for resolution of L2 issues with detailed analysis.
• Also help with code fixes and rigorous testing where required

Value-Add Elements (Recommended Additions)

• Cloud Migration: Awareness of AWS, microservices, and distributed computing (e.g., Kubernetes, Spark, Airflow) as applications transition to the cloud
• Market Risk Domain: Familiarity with concepts like Value-at-Risk (VaR), Stress Testing, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CCAR, Basel III, FRTB)

AWS certification is added advantage
