Job summary

HCLTech Mexico is seeking a Jr. Java Support Engineer to join our technology team in Guadalajara. You will provide Java-based application support, work with Spring Boot, SQL, and monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-facing mindset to resolve incidents efficiently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java development and/or application support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience writing, modifying, and troubleshooting SQL queries and scripts.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Incident Management, Change Management, and Major Incident processes.
• Experience working with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Hands-on experience with Elastic and Kibana.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
