ING is seeking a Software Backend Engineer to design, develop and test backend components, ensuring performance and quality across services. You will deliver in production and support operations while maintaining code quality and documentation.

You will work within an information technology squad, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying agile practices. The role requires strong English communication and a passion for scalable, secure backend systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend / microservices environment.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and clean code practices.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration/BDD).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and test backend components to meet functionality, quality and performance requirements.
• Deliver production-ready software and ensure proper documentation and deployment parameters.
• Support production by analyzing and fixing defects and improving technical discipline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the full stack across squads.
• Maintain awareness of the wider architecture and infrastructure.
