Sinch is looking for a Software Engineer to help develop and scale the Inbox services within the SaaS Engage Platform. You will join a cross-functional, autonomous team that owns the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.

You will build scalable Java backends, work with microservices, Kafka, and RESTful APIs, and ensure performance, reliability, and observability across product lines. Strong English communication and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Formación

• 3-5 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with non-relational databases.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience using AI coding tools with understanding of their benefits and risks.
• Able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
• Develop scalable, distributed backend services using Java.
• Improve the performance of high-throughput messaging systems.
• Contribute to APIs, messaging pipelines, and data models.
• Work with frontend engineers and product managers to deliver features.
• Ensure scalability, security, and observability of services.
• Engage in code reviews and continuous learning.
• Take ownership of your code.
