ING Hubs Spain is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join the DDoS Squad within ING's Global Security Organization. You will design, develop and maintain secure, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure with IaC in an Agile/DevOps environment.

The role collaborates with Product Managers, engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact security solutions that support ING's global network.

Formación

• Proven experience with Spring Boot (preferred) or Java EE.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Kubernetes and/or OpenShift knowledge.
• Understanding of security and risk in software development.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools like Helm, Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and enhance software using Spring Boot and Java.
• Build and deploy solutions following CI/CD best practices and automated pipelines.
• Develop and automate infrastructure components using IaC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure continuous delivery.
• Maintain documentation and development standards.
• Monitor and improve incident, change and configuration management processes.
• Contribute to ongoing engineering practice improvements.
