ING España & Portugal is hiring a Software Backend Engineer to design, develop and test backend components in a fast-paced banking environment. You will work in a cross-functional squad, delivering production-ready software with robust tests and clear documentation.

We expect at least 5 years of experience with Java and microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and strong English communication. The role offers flexible work with home/office days and an international remote work program.

Formación

• 5 years of experience with a similar tech stack.
• Proficiency in Java and microservices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of database migration tools (Flyway, Liquibase).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and test backend components to meet functionality, quality and performance.
• Deliver in production a working software using best practices and proper documentation.
• Support production by analyzing and fixing issues and guiding technical discipline.
• Collaborate with cross-technical squads to align with overall architecture.
• Own responsibilities in coding, environments management, release and monitoring.
