Job summary

Magellan in Madrid is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join the Finance team. You will prepare and record accurate accounting entries, manage treasury activities and cash flow, and oversee Travel Expenses and P2P processes.

You will support the preparation of statutory accounts and local authority reports, collaborate with Accounting and Controlling, and help strengthen internal controls across the group. Strong Excel, SAP, tax knowledge, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting within an international company.
• Advanced Excel and SAP proficiency, with demonstrable prior experience.
• Solid tax knowledge (VAT, IRPF, etc.) and experience filing SII information.
• Meticulous and thorough approach to all accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ethical conduct and integrity.
• Proactive mindset with initiative and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record accurate accounting entries.
• Manage and reconcile treasury activities and cash flow.
• Oversee Travel Expenses, and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and statutory/statistical reports required by local authorities.
• Collaborate with members of the Accounting and Controlling teams.
• Review and implement internal control activities across the Group.
