Michael Page is seeking an experiencedF&A leader for a 12-month project based in Madrid. The role requires advanced SAP proficiency and oversight of all accounting and financial activities.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and support strategic decision-making for ongoing expansion.

• Must have advanced SAP proficiency.
• Experience in F&A accounting and financial analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee all accounting and financial activities, including statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax, regulatory and financial requirements.
• Develop and lead internal and external audit processes with auditors for transparency and accuracy.
• Manage the accounting team, mentor staff, and optimise processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Advise senior management on strategic decisions through detailed financial reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Liaise and implement the hybrid outsourced model of F&A accounting
• Work closely with other areas of the company, including Finance, Operations, and Project Management, to provide clear and strategic financial analysis.
• Lead and oversee all accounting and financial activities of the company, including the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax, regulatory, and financial requirements, as well as the accurate preparation and submission of accounting reports.
• Develop and lead the internal and external audit processes, working closely with auditors to ensure the transparency and accuracy of financial statements.
• Manage the accounting team, providing direction and mentoring, while optimising processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain internal accounting policies that ensure appropriate financial controls and minimise risks.
• Advise senior management on strategic decision-making through detailed financial reporting, profitability analysis, and forecasting.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external financial and accounting service providers.
• Actively participate in the definition and execution of financial plans that support the company's ongoing expansion and growth.

We offer a 12-month project based in Madrid.
For the project, the professional will be hired directly by the client.
