Job summary

Talantir in Madrid is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the daily finance operations and work closely with our Corporate Headquarters in Toronto.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, month-end close, and assist with IFRS reporting while gaining exposure to multi-entity accounting.

This role is ideal for early-career finance professionals fluent in Spanish and English who thrive in a bilingual, international environment and value accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience; entry-level acceptable.
• Bilingual Spanish and English; ability to work in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax frameworks and IFRS.
• Highly proficient in Excel and office tools; ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Familiar with payroll processes and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries and GL maintenance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare expense reports and reimbursements.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain accounting records in NetSuite and support intercompany transactions.
• Assist with fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments tracking.
• Support tax filings, Seguridad Social, and regulatory reporting documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisers on reporting.
