GE Vernova is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead electrical design and engineering activities for large energy projects on a hybrid work model across Europe. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure delivery within safety, quality, time and cost criteria.

You will guide technical deviations, lead design reviews, and liaise with partners, customers, and delivery partners to ensure compliance with customer requirements and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience of Engineering activities as lead engineer in EPC type environment.
• Successful experience in project technical management with multi-disciplinary teams and multiple interfaces.

Responsabilités

• Define scope and engineering deliverables with responsible functions / disciplines.
• Manage global time schedule of engineering activities and ensure coherence with related project functions.
• Plan delivery time of technical interfaces, coordinate with partners, customers and third-party contractors.
• Ensure on-time design delivery to stakeholders with suitable quality and partner documents.
• Support Project Engineering Director and I&I Manager in engineering changes for large/complex projects.
• Lead and coordinate design teams with support from primary, secondary and civil designers.
• Monitor engineering budget and identify potential savings, flag budget overruns to the Project Manager.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews per EMH procedures and project strategy.
• Manage design changes and prepare related claims and VO for approval.
• Analyse customer requirements and ensure compliance through technical queries and change tracking.
• Validate design during customer acceptance and manage project documentation status.
