Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced NPI Program Manager for the Grid Automation and Software portfolio. The role focuses on leading New Product Introduction programmes, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring successful market introductions.

The selected candidate will operate across a global, matrix environment with travel as required. The position sits within GE Vernova’s Grid Automation and Software group, with Stafford, United Kingdom as the preferred base and flexible remote

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years leading technical projects or engineering teams.
Minimum 5 years managing complex New Product Introduction or product development initiatives.
Experience delivering cross‑functional programs in industrial, electrical, software, automation or energy environments.

Responsibilities

Lead programme‑level execution across a portfolio of NPI and product development initiatives within the PAC portfolio.
Oversee project execution from early assessment, planning and stage‑gate governance through to launch readiness and commercial release.
Ensure project managers and workstreams are aligned on priorities, milestones and critical decisions.
Coordinate cross‑functional activity across Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and regional teams.
Remove execution barriers and escalate critical issues to enable timely decisions.
Establish and maintain integrated programme plans covering development, validation and manufacturing readiness.
Monitor programme health via milestone tracking, schedule performance and budget monitoring.
Organise programme reviews, gate reviews and senior stakeholder updates.
Coordinate launch readiness activities including manufacturing readiness and certifications.
Support the transition from development into sustaining operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement of NPI governance and processes across the portfolio.
