GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic software development initiative supporting GridBeats Virtualization for Protection Relays. You will oversee planning, governance, and delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, schedule, and business outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and experience managing agile software programs, with a focus on continuous improvement and AI-enabled project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or IT.
• Extensive PM experience leading complex software projects.
• Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex software development projects from initiation to delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, milestones, and KPIs.
• Monitor risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Drive project governance, reporting, reviews, and lessons learned.
• Communicate status and risks clearly to senior leadership.
• Coordinate across Software Development, Product Management, QA, Service & Support.
• Apply Lean principles and drive continuous improvement.
