Job summary

Fundraise Up, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Payroll and Benefits Lead to oversee payroll, equity, and benefits across multiple countries and entities. This hands-on role ensures accurate, on-time payments and aligned incentive programs, working with Finance and Legal.

You'll design scalable processes, governance, and controls, while leveraging AI to improve reconciliation, reporting, and documentation for a distributed workforce. Fully remote role across regions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive global payroll/benefits/workers ops experience with multi-country payroll.
• Experience managing direct-entity, EOR/PEO, and contractor populations across jurisdictions.
• Hands-on with bonuses/variable compensation and approval controls.
• Experience designing equity/long-term incentive programs.
• Audits of HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) including data governance, reporting.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, equity tax considerations, ASC 718.
• Proven ability to improve complex processes in a distributed org.
• Fluent Russian and English (C1) written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global payroll delivery for employees and contractors with accurate, timely payments.
• Calculate and validate variable compensation and bonuses with inputs and reconciliations.
• Build and run a global payroll calendar with cutoffs, reviews, and funding timelines.
• Design and administer equity and LTIP programs with records and cap-table integrity.
• Own global benefits administration across markets balancing value, compliance, and cost.
• Monitor benefits usage and competitiveness; recommend data-backed changes.
• Manage payroll data integrity across BambooHR, Justworks, Remote, and Carta.
• Oversee EOR/PEO relationships, governance, and provider performance.
• Identify recurring failure points and implement sustainable fixes.
