Jobtailor in Barcelona seeks an analytics leader to build and own the B2B analytical framework, drive retention and cohort analyses, and translate insights into pricing and product decisions. You will own forecasting, scenario modeling, and KPI governance, influencing strategy across product, operations, and engineering.

Ideal candidates bring fluent SQL and Python, experience creating or scaling analytics teams, and a background in B2B SaaS or marketplace economics.

Formación

• Specific decisions must have occurred because of your analysis, including pricing, resourcing, or roadmap decisions.
• Experience owning a metric or strategic framework required by other teams.
• Experience resolving conflicts between teams over metric definitions.
• Understanding of subscription or marketplace economics.
• Ability to build an LTV or cohort model from scratch.
• Fluent, independent SQL and Python skills.
• Experience reviewing other analysts' code.
• Experience challenging stakeholder requests and reframing the right question.
• Experience building a forecast or scenario model used by a VP.
• Nice to have: background in B2B SaaS, enterprise, or account-based business models.
• Nice to have: experience building or scaling an analytics function.
• Nice to have: experience with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Nice to have: Master's or PhD in a quantitative field

Responsabilidades

• Build and own the analytical framework used by leadership to evaluate B2B trade-offs.
• Define a long-term measurement framework identifying structural growth levers.
• Lead retention and cohort analyses for B2B leadership.
• Turn analytical findings into pricing, product, or lifecycle recommendations.
• Own impact modeling and scenario analysis for major B2B product initiatives.
• Support quarterly and annual planning through forecasting, trade-off analysis, and risk assessment.
• Own B2B metric definitions and governance.
• Resolve conflicting metric definitions and maintain a single source of truth.
• Design the experimentation and analytics agenda.
• Define testing approaches and success measures.
• Analyze experiments to determine initiative impact.
• Partner with Directors and VPs across product, operations, and engineering to shape B2B strategy.
• Mentor senior analysts and extend analytical work to company-level questions when needed.
