Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer focused on Cortex XSIAM. This remote role supports customers globally, collaborating with technical account managers to understand client environments, mitigate risks, and drive permanent solutions.

You will troubleshoot complex security environments, reproduce issues with developers, and work across Windows, macOS and Linux—engaging in proactive risk identification and customer advocacy.

Qualifications

• Experience with Endpoint Security software and SIEM
• Experience with EDR tools and data parsing
• Strong knowledge of networking basics and OS troubleshooting
• Experience in incident response and root cause analysis
• Proven ability to work with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) for troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Respond to user-reported issues within defined SLAs
• Triage issues via ticketing system, phone, or remote sessions
• Perform advanced troubleshooting at application and OS levels
• Identify fault areas and coordinate fixes with teams
• Provide feedback to development on product problems and workarounds
• Document actions and communicate clearly to customers
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement preventive measures
