Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer focused on Cortex XSIAM to join our global, customer‑facing team. You will provide high‑quality technical support, manage escalations, and work with account managers to tailor the customer experience.

You will learn customer environments, mitigate risks, and collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and craft permanent solutions, ensuring proactive protection for our clients’ networks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Endpoint Security software is required.
• SIEM experience or strong familiarity with SIEM concepts.
• Deep understanding of how SIEMs work and how to parse data.
• Experience in creating custom collections and data parsing.
• Experience in creating complex correlation rules, reports and dashboards.
• Experience in integration and implementation of SIEMs.
• Experience working with EDR tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting diverse environments.
• Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux based applications.
• 4+ years of experience as a Support Engineer.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Kubernetes, GCP, AWS) for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user-reported issues in adherence to SLAs.
• Triage customer issues via ticketing, phone, or remote sessions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting at application and OS levels.
• Identify fault area (code, environment, or configuration) and coordinate fixes.
• Provide feedback to development on product problems.
• Document actions clearly for internal and customer communications.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective measures.
