Placements24 is seeking a Senior Site Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at a large, high-profile facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This hands-on supervisory role leads a team of cleaning staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety for occupants and visitors.

Formación

• 4+ years in cleaning/janitorial, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff.
• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for various environments.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting).
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with Eastern Cape operations is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, train, and manage a team of cleaning staff and monitor performance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure high cleanliness standards and safety.
• Enforce cleaning, health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and stock levels.
• Respond promptly to cleaning-related issues or emergencies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide ongoing training on techniques, safety, and equipment use.
• Serve as primary contact for site management on cleaning services.
