Placements24 is seeking a Catering Service Supervisor to oversee on-site catering operations for large-scale events in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will lead a service team, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure outstanding guest experiences through efficient service and hygiene compliance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within catering or hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a service team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced event environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and direct catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdown in Queenstown.
• Ensure all service staff adhere to company standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest interaction.
• Manage the efficient flow of food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in service areas.
• Assist in training new service staff on procedures and protocols.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with the catering team to review event details and service requirements.
• Address and resolve any service-related issues or guest complaints promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food.
• Manage inventory of service items (linens, cutlery, glassware) during events.
• Report on event service performance to the Operations Manager.
