Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the remote operation of offshore wind assets from a dedicated Remote Operations Center. You will collaborate with site teams and engineers to monitor performance, analyze faults, and drive reliability across the turbine fleet.

Based in Barcelona, Spain, you will participate in commissioning and service phases, travel up to 20%, and support shift rotations with on-call weekend coverage. EU work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on wind energy experience in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics
• Aid field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends
• Assist in reporting and communication of findings
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance considerations
• Work a rotating weekday shift with occasional on-call coverage
