Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) to oversee offshore wind assets from a remote hub in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues, and guide service teams to maintain reliability and safety.

You will collaborate with engineering on data-driven improvements, analyze trends, and support escalation with structured technical information. Eligible for EU relocation and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Experience with wind turbines in operational environments and with SCADA/digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility; travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call weekends/holidays.
