Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center to monitor offshore wind assets, support commissioning and service, and drive safe, efficient operation from a remote hub.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to analyse data, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement, with travel up to 20% and a rotating weekday schedule with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
Experience reading electrical schematics and applying them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service activities.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
