Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You will monitor performance, perform remote diagnostics, assist field teams, and drive continuous improvement across commissioning and service phases.

This role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, SCADA knowledge, strong analytical skills, and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and clear technical communication.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
Support reporting and communication of findings.
Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call weekends/public holidays.
