Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations to safeguard offshore wind assets from a remote center in Barcelona. You will work with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring reliable turbine performance across the lifecycle.

You will lead diagnostics, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams and prioritising safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands‑on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
