GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for remote wind operations, based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to resolve issues and optimize operations across commissioning and service phases.

You will analyse data, support reporting, and participate in on-call rotations, with travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure; collaborative mindset
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Fluent English; willing to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms; respond to abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults and trends
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance
• Work on rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call weekends/public holidays
