Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities, ensuring turbine reliability over their lifecycle.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to analyze faults, communicate findings clearly, and contribute to continuous improvement while travelling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with wind assets and remote diagnostics is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call support on weekends/holidays.
