Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbines, perform remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure safe, efficient operation throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults and improvements, and contribute to process optimization. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20% are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormalities.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems and drive improvements.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and optimization opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
