Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, support commissioning and service activities, and coordinate with site engineers to ensure safe and reliable offshore wind operations from a centralized hub.

The role requires strong analytical communication, experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona. Travel up to 20% and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
