Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and service activities while collaborating with site teams and engineering specialists.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, SCADA experience, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shift with on-call during weekends/public holidays.
