Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in wind energy. You will monitor offshore turbine performance from a remote hub, troubleshoot, and coordinate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role covers commissioning and service phases, including data analysis, incident resolution, and continuous improvement. Candidates should be able to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona, with fluency in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
Fluent English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call during weekends and holidays.
