Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets from a remote operations center, collaborating with site teams and engineers to ensure safe, efficient performance across commissioning and service phases.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement, with travel up to 20% and fluent English. Will relocate to Barcelona if required by the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind sector experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
