Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). You monitor turbine performance, support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics, and collaborate with field teams to maintain safe, efficient operation.

You will read electrical schematics, use SCADA tools, analyze data, and travel up to 20% as needed. Fluent English is required; relocation to Barcelona may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
