Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in the wind sector, coordinating safe offshore asset performance from a central hub. You will analyze data, diagnose issues, and guide remote support during commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams, engineers, and operations staff, ensuring reliable turbine performance, continuous improvement, and safe grid integration while traveling up to 20% when required.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Reading electrical schematics and applying them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
