Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). You will monitor offshore wind assets from a remote hub, coordinating with site teams to detect and resolve issues and to keep turbines operating reliably across their lifecycle.

You will analyze data, guide diagnostics, and support commissioning and service activities while maintaining safety and compliance. Expect travel as needed and strong collaboration across engineering and support teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in wind energy field.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Support field teams to resolve technical issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to solve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to reporting and communication of findings.
• Assist in process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance focus.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call rotations.
